The Pitcast Episode 13 – Mixi Demner – Stitched Up Heart…again! 2020, Apr 4

A band performs on stage; the vocalist gestures dramatically to the crowd, lit by moody blue stage lights, with a drummer and guitarist also visible. They are members of Stitched Up Heart.

Mixi Demner of Stitched Up Heart gets in The Pit again! A frequent flyer this is her 4th time diving in to talk about whatever hits our brains. Stitched Up Heart released their second full-length record, “Darkness”, with a year long build up of releasing singles before the release of the album. We chat about the first single, “Lost” and the band’s very special guest voice.

Mixi is also a great animal lover and we talk about fostering fur babies and we have the grand distinction of meeting two of the little guys, Mars and Neptune. She also tells me about how you can help by visiting kittenrescue.org

Of course we talk about what is on the mind of everyone on the planet today, The COVID, and how the simple things in life have become harder to accomplish.

I asked about touring with Godsmack, Volbeat, Halestorm, In This Moment, and New Year’s Day. And not touring with Sebastian Bach.

So, strap in everyone! There are some serious moments here, but Mixi and I have a great time talking like two old friends who play catch up once a year. Thank you Mixi for your time and I look forward to the new EP when it is release!
